  • 8:45am Maureen is sound asleep. She is lying on her left side. Tom says Maureen has been sleeping the whole time.

  • 9:30am Maureen is still sound asleep. Merianne and I repositioned Maureen to her right side.

  • 10:00am Maureen is still sound asleep. Merianne and I changed music to a more livelier tune and opened the blinds in hope of helping Maureen wake up.

  • 10:20am Maureen is still sound asleep.

  • 10:35am Maureen is still sound asleep.

    • Vitals: BP 106/64, Temp 97.4, Pulse 66, O2 97%.

  • 10:42am Maureen is now awake.

  • 10:45am Merianne and I helped Maureen to a sitting position in bed. Administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with applesauce. Sips of water given via swab.

  • 11:00am We began our day with a partial bed bath with warmed wipes from the purple packet. Diaper is dry - milky discharge with a brown tinge present. Merianne and I suspect this is dried blood. We performed a clean and change. Applied Cavilon barrier cream to appropriate areas and Cavilon barrier film to the sacral area. We dressed and headed to the front room via Hoyer lift.

  • 11:11am 10 oz lemon water.

  • 11:18am 10mg Loratidine with applesauce.

  • 11:20am Breakfast - Omelet (onion, tomato, cheese), pear. 4 oz prune juice. Maureen sneezed 4 times.

  • 11:48am Oral care.

  • 11:55am Nebulizer treatment.

  • 12:07pm Facial care routine.

  • 1:30pm Lunch - Chicken soup with mixed vegetables, rice pudding. 10 oz lemon water.

  • 1:40pm Dr. Parise is here for Maureen's appointment. He inspected, trimmed, and filed Maureen's toenails.

  • 2:22pm Oral care.

  • 2:30pm We headed to the bedroom for today's only rest break. Maureen's diaper is dry and she had a small, formed bowel movement - Merianne and I performed a clean and change. During the process, Maureen urinated which would have resulted in a heavy wet diaper. Maureen will lie on her right side with two green wedge pillows secured behind her starting at 2:42pm.

  • 3:30pm Rest break ends. Maureen's diaper is dry. We dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:43pm Fruit snack. 8 oz coconut water.
