July 28 daytime update

• 7:30am Maureen is awake. She is lying on her left side. She is more congested than usual today.

• 8:00am Our morning begins. Diaper is heavy wet - we cleaned, changed, and applied 3M products. We washed the inner folds of Maureen’s skin using warmed wipes from the purple packet. We finished dressing for the day.

• 8:14am Sandy is helping Maureen through a series of stretches and exercises in bed.

• 8:36am Flonase, spoonful of Manuka honey, thyroid pill with applesauce.

• 8:40am Breakfast - banana, oatmeal, 6 oz prune juice. Maureen coughed 6 times and sneezed 5 times.

• 9:07am Lisinopril and Claritin with applesauce.

• 9:10am Oral care.

• 9:16am Eyelash wash and eye drops.

• 9:20am Morning facial routine including arms and hands.

• 9:25am Nebulizer treatment.

• 10:30am Fruit smoothie.

• 11:00am We suspected Maureen had a bowel movement so we headed to the bedroom. Diaper is heavy wet and Maureen had a small, loose bowel movement - we cleaned and changed. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 11:13am.

• 12:13pm Rest break #1 is over. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet - we cleaned and changed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30pm Lunch - chicken noodle soup, tuna on sourdough bread, grilled vegetables and a bottle of organic coconut water. Cookie for dessert. Maureen coughed 4 times and sneezed twice.

• 1:32pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm We headed to bedroom for rest break #2. Diaper is heavy - we cleaned and changed. Maureen will lie on her left side for one hour starting at 2:11pm.

• 3:11pm Rest break #2 is over. Diaper is medium wet - we cleaned and changed and headed to the front room.

• 3:26pm Fruit snack.
