July 16 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is sleeping soundly.

• 7:30M - She remains asleep—stirring lightly

• 8:15AM - Maureen is sleeping lightly at this point—chatting with herself a bit.

• The day began officially @ 8:25AM. Maureen is in good spirts-chatty and laughing. Her diaper was wet. Maya used the warmed wipes from the purple packet to thoroughly clean Maureen. There were no posterior red marks.

• 8:45AM - Thyroid pill administered

• Breakfast service began @ 8:45AM. Maureen tilted to the left a fair amount from the moment we placed her in the geri chair. Maya inserted a green wedge pillow to straighten her position. We used the full upright position on the geri chair this morning. Overall posture in geri chair is excellent. There is no slumping. The only downside is that Maureen's feet do not touch the floor.

• Maureen will consume 1/2 a glass of undiluted prune juice this morning.

• 9:00AM - blood pressure pill and baby aspirin administered

• Maureen coughed a little more than normal during breakfast—3 to 4 times.

• RED RIGHT EYE UPDATE> The redness in the lower portion of the right eye socket is basically gone. There was no sleep/gunk on the eyelashes of either eye. Maya will not wash Maureen's eyelashes with Johnson's Baby Shampoo diluted in water.

• 10:00AM - Overall, posture in geri chair remains good. Maureen continues to tilt fairly significantly to the left.

• 10:05AM - Organic fruit smoothie time.

• 10:55AM - Maya checked pull up. It was wet .We took Maureen to the bedroom in the geri chair. It was rather easy to get the sling properly on her in the geri chair. Maya cleaned Maureen thoroughly and put on a new pull up. She did not note any red marks on posterior area.

• 11:10AM - After clean/change, Maya and I took Maureen to the lift recliner using the day chair.

• 12:15PM - Lunch. Today, Chef Maya served homemade chicken noodle soup, 1/2 a sliced tomato and 1/2 turkey melt on toasted whole wheat bread. Maureen also enjoyed a 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water. Mmmm good.

• 1:21PM - Maya checked the pull up. It was wet. We decided to take Maureen to the bathroom to give her a chance to move her bowels. This necessitated a transfer to the day chair. The pull up was very wet. It seeped through to the shorts. We waited 15 minutes. Maureen did not urinate or move her bowels on the toilet. Maya cleaned Maureen thoroughly and put on a new pull up and pair of shorts. We then took Maureen to the lift recliner.

• 4:30pm, bathroom, medium wet, small poop and peed in toilet. Maya thoroughly cleaned and a new pull-u was put on. We returned to the recliner for the FEUD.
