  • 8:00am Maureen is asleep. She is lying on her right side. Maya says Maureen was awake when she arrived at the house and only recently fell asleep.

  • 8:30am Our morning begins. Maureen's diaper is heavy wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change and applied 3M products. We next washed Maureen's upper body using warmed wipes from the purple packet. We noted redness underneath Maureen's left breast - we applied a layer of Nystatin cream to the area. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 8:50am I listened to Maureen's lungs - they are clear. Pulse is 62, O2 96%.

  • 8:55am Nebulizer treatment - normal saline.

  • 9:05am Nebulizer treatment - albuterol sulfate.

  • 9:20am Administered Levothyroxine with applesauce.

  • 9:25am Breakfast - banana, oatmeal, 8 oz prune juice, cup of water.

  • 9:44am Administered 20mL Robafen, Lisinopril and Loratidine with applesauce.

  • 9:47am Oral care.

  • 9:52am We reclined Maureen's geri chair down one notch for her comfort.

  • 9:55am Eye wash and eye drops.

  • 10:00am Morning facial routine.

  • 10:30am Fruit smoothie.

  • General Observation @ 11:00am We have had a pretty routine day thus far. Maureen started the day at a good pace and she slowly lost energy as the morning went on. We saw few coughs this morning and breakfast went well. Positioning is great, Maureen is sitting up straight and centered on the geri chair with support of the green wedge pillows. As of 10:50am, Maureen is asleep in the geri chair.

  • 11:00am Visit with Carolyn.

  • 11:45am Maureen was sound asleep for the entirety of Carolyn's visit. We headed to the bedroom for rest break #1. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change. Maureen will have a shortened rest break. She will lie on her left side for 30 minutes starting at 12:00pm.

  • 12:30pm Rest break #1 concludes. Maureen's diaper is dry. We headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:42pm Lunch - Chesapeake Bay shrimp salad, Brussels sprouts, chicken noodle soup, bottle of organic coconut water, cup of water.

  • 1:10pm Administered 20mL Robafen.

  • 1:12pm Oral care. We reclined Maureen's geri chair down one notch after for her comfort.

  • 1:15pm Nebulizer treatment - normal saline.

  • 1:25pm Nebulizer treatment - albuterol sulfate.

  • 2:00pm We headed to the bedroom for rest break #2. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - Maya and I performed a clean and change. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 2:10pm.

3:10- second rest break is over. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed Maureen, applied Cavilon lotion. Headed to the front room.

3:25 - Fruit snack. No coughs.
