January 28 daytime update

• 6:30AM - Maureen is awake. Beginning at this time through when Maureen started her day, I used a swab to wet her mouth on numerous occasions. She absolutely loves it as her mouth is so dry by 6:30AM.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:07AM. She is in fine form. Maya applied Tolcylen to both of Maureen's nails on her big toes. Diaper is medium wet. We performed a clean and change using all three 3M Cavilon products where appropriate. Maya then cleaned all areas of focus of Maureen's upper body with Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam.

• Breakfast service commenced @ 8:40AM. Maya started off by giving Maureen a teaspoon of Manuka Honey followed immediately by the thyroid pill with a smattering of applesauce.

• Maureen will consume 4 ounces of prune juice this morning.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• 8:58AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication with a wee bit of applesauce.

• 9:06AM - Morning oral care routine

• 9:15AM - Eyelash cleaning and eye drops

• 9:20AM - Morning facial routine

• Key vital statistics at 8:40AM: Temperature: 98.5, Oxygen: 97 and Heart rate: 73

• 10:30AM - Organic fruit smoothie

• 10:52AM - We headed to the bedroom to get ready for Rest Break #1. Diaper was light wet. Maureen had some fecal discharge—not enough to be considered a bowel movement. After completing a clean and change, Maya and I placed Maureen on her right side.

• 11:08AM - Rest Break #1 begins

• 12:20PM - Rest Break #1 ends. Diaper was medium wet. Maureen urinated a second time and had a large formed bowel movement as we were starting to clean her. We cleaned Maureen a second time and got her dressed.

• 12:38PM - Lunch | 1/2 a homemade egg salad sandwich on toasted whole wheat bread, 1/2 a bowl of lentil soup and a medley of green beans and broccoli. Maureen will drink one 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water with lunch.

• 1:15PM - Afternoon oral care

• Key vital statistics at 1:45PM: Temperature: 98.9, Oxygen: 98 and Heart rate: 76

• 1:55PM - We headed to the bedroom to get ready for Rest Break #2. Diaper was medium wet. After cleaning and changing Maureen, we positioned her on her right side.

• 2:10PM - Rest Break #2 begins.

• 3:10PM - Rest Break #2 ends. Diaper is light wet. Maya and I performed a clean and change. We then headed to the front room.

• 3:30PM - Afternoon fruit snack

• Daytime summary> All in all it was a good day. Engagement was good. Maureen ate well. She had a large formed bowel movement. Coughing was greater than normal but nowhere near as bad as yesterday.
