  • 4:00pm Maureen is sitting comfortably in the recliner.

  • 4:40pm Maureen fell asleep on the recliner for approximately 20 minutes.

  • 5:00pm Dinner - Chicken fajita casserole, rice, cup of water.

  • 6:00pm Administered 5mg Olanzapine with parfait an 12.5mL Vimpat.

  • 6:12pm Oral care.

  • 6:45pm We headed to the bedroom for the night. Maureen's diaper is medium wet - Tom and I performed a clean and change and applied 3M Cavilon cream. I washed Maureen's upper body using warmed wipes from the purple packet, applied Vicks to her chest, and applied Cetaphil moisturizing lotion to her lower extremities. Maureen's night time facial routine followed. She is lying on her left side with two green wedge pillows supporting her.

  • Vitals @ bedtime temp 97, pulse 66, O2 95%.

  • Maureen was heavily congested. I used the suction machine multiple times throughout the day and was able to remove a significant amount of secretions each time. In lieu of Maureen falling asleep earlier, Tom and I elected to give Maureen her medications earlier at 6pm right after dinner.
