January 14 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is awake. Her diaper is dry.

• 7:05AM - Maureen remains awake. Diaper is still dry.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:05AM. She is alert and engaged. Her diaper was medium wet. Maya and I performed our standard procedures for toes, clean & change and upper body wash. We noted nothing out of the ordinary. No Nystatin Ointment was required.

• Breakfast service commenced @ 8:40AM. Posture in the geri in the geri chair is very good—with the assistance of both green wedge pillows and Magic Mike. Maya got things going with a teaspoon of Manuka honey followed immediately by the thyroid medication with a smattering of applesauce.

• Maureen will drink 4 ounces of prune juice this morning.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• 9:00AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication.

• 9:15AM - Morning oral care

• 9:28AM - Eyelash cleaning

• 9:45AM - Hand, arm, shoulder and leg exercises

• 10:27AM - Organic fruit smoothie

• 10:50AM - We transported Maureen to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was medium wet. Maya and I cleaned and changed Maureen and placed her on her left side.

• 10:58AM - Rest Break #1 begins

• 11:50AM - Rest Break #1 ends. The diaper was dry. We got Maureen dressed and headed to the kitchen for lunch.

• 12:05PM - Lunch | Carolyn stopped by the house with sandwiches from Jersey Mike's. Maureen had 1/2 a turkey & provolone sandwich on rosemary bread, 1/2 a bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup and a handful of potato chips.

• 12:50PM - Afternoon oral care

• 1:50PM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #2. The diaper was medium wet. Maureen had a large soft bowel movement. Maya and Carolyn perfumed a thorough clean & change. They then placed Maureen on her right side.

• 2:00PM - Rest Break #2 begins

• 3:00PM - Rest Break #2 ends. Diaper was medium wet. After doing a clean & change, we headed to the front room for the remainder of the afternoon.

• 3:23PM - Afternoon fruit snack
