Friday October 6, 2023 Daytime update

• 6:30am Maureen’s asleep, she’s lying on her left.,Tom tells me she opened her eyes briefly earlier and went back to sleep.

• 7:00am Maureen’s sleeping.

• 7:30am Maureen’s still asleep.

• 8:00am Maureen opened her eyes calmly few minutes ago.

• 8:30am Maureen’s still sleepy.

• 9:00am Maureen seems more awake now, we raised her bed head and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine pill with apple sauce.

• 9:10am Our day starts. Marianne and I gave Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. Redness under her right armpit it’s still visible, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Diaper was dry but we changed anyway and applied Cavilon barrier and cream. Dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

• 9:30am Maureen’s enjoying an oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 1tbs flaxseeds, 6oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax and couple spoons of Greek yogurt. She coughed twice and sneezed once during breakfast.

• Daily Miralax dosage: 1/2 cap.

• 10:00am Administered 10mg loratadine with smoothie.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 10:15 am Morning oral care.

• 10:25am Facial routine performed.

• Maureen seems sleepy this morning, she snoozed for about 30 minutes after her morning routine.

• 11:20am Maureen had 1/2 cup of lemon water.

• 11:30am Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first break. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her right side starting at 11:45.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper was dry , dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Blood pressure: 105/68, P 65.

• 12:50pm Lunch: Vegetable soup, grilled chicken salad with sliced tomato and cucumber on the side, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed once during meal. Reclined Geri chair one notch, she was leaning forward.

• 1:25pm Oral care.

• Contrary to this morning, in the afternoon Maureen is very much alert and awake.

• 2:15pm We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second break. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her Lt side at 2:30.

• 3:15pm No BM de o far, a suppository is inserted.

• 3:45pm Second break ends. Cleaned and changed a md wet diaper and a Medium- formed bowl movement. Dressed and headed Maureen to the front room.

• 4:00pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack ( melon/pear/kiwi).
