Friday October 27, 2023 Daytime update

• 6:30am Maureen’s awake, lying on her left with Tom by her side. He tells me Maureen’s been up and taking sips of water via swab since 6:15.

• 7:00am Maureen’s receptive to sips of water via swab.L

• 7:30am She’s in and out of sleep.

• 8:00am Maureen’s sleeping.

• 8:30am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed head and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine pill with apple sauce.

• 8:40am We start our day giving Maureen an upper body bath, cleaning and changing a dry diaper and applying Cavilon barrier and cream. No redness observed. Dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

• 9:00am Maureen is enjoying an oatmeal/fruit smoothie w/1tsp flaxseeds, 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax, few sips of coffee and couple spoons of Greek yogurt. She coughed once.

• 9:25am Administered 10mg lora with smoothie.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• Daily Miralax dosage: 1/2 cap.

• 9:40am Morning oral care.

• 9:50 Facial routine.

• 10:10am Blood pressure: 108/68, P 77.

• 10:50am Maureen took a 30 minutes nap on the Geri chair.

• 11:00am Maureen finished drinking her first cup of lemon water.

• Maureen‘s been not congested, minimal coughing, so far today. Suction pump was used couple times to help her get rid of some phlegm.

• 11:05am Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first break. Mari and I cleaned and changed a md wet diaper with a Large-soft (almost formed) BM. Positioned on her right side at 11:25.

• 12:15pm First break ends. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

• 12:30pm Lunch: Veggies soup, Shrimp and sauté onions salad, sliced beets, full cup of sparkling and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed twice and sneezed once during meal.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 1:10pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen had half cup of ginger tea. She’s alert and in good spirit , gave us one of her beautiful smiles.

• 2:10pm Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second break. Cleaned and changed a heavy wet diaper. Positioned on her left side starting at 2:25.
