Friday October 18, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00AM - Maureen was already awake, she's on her left side.

• 8:20AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:35AM - We started Maureen's day with a full body bed bath using warm water with Cetaphil cleanser, no redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was dry with stained spot. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on her folds. We dressed her and proceed to wash her hair using the medicated shampoo. We transferred Maureen to the kitchen after to dry and style her hair.

• 9:10am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice with a full cap of Miralax, Activia yogurt and oatmeal:blueberries pancake with jam and mandarin. Coughed twice.

• 9:25am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

• Maureen closed her eyes for about 10 minutes finishing breakfast.

• Daily Miralax dosage: 1 cap

• 9:50am Oral care.

• 10:00am Facial routine performed.

• 10:15am Taking advantage of the nice weather, we go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood.

• Back home, Maureen had a cup of lemon water.

• 11:45am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper it’s dry and clear, positioned on her right side.

• 12:45pm First break ends. Carolyn and I checked Maureen’s diaper, it’s dry and clear. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 1:05pm Lunch: Ham and cheese grilled sandwich, guacamole and a full cup of root beer. Coughed twice.

• 1:55pm Oral care.

• 2:10pm Blood pressure: 118/82, P 79.

• 2:20pm Saline and albuterol Neb treatment.

• 2:45pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with slight light brown blood stain and tan Extra small-soft BM, positioned on her left side.

• 3:45pm Second break ends. Diaper it’s dry clear, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 4:00pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) with 1/3 cup of lemon water.
