Friday, Nov. 8, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake however, still looking sleepy - lying on her left side. No signs of discomfort or pain.

8:25AM - Maureen was still looking sleepy, eyes half-way open.

8:40AM - In an upright position, we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:50AM - Me and Dalia started Maureen's day. Gave her a full body bed bath using warm water and Cetaphil cleanser. No redness on skin. Diaper was dry with very small yellowish vaginal discharge. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. Finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

9:10AM - Breakfast - 8 oz prune juice with 1 cap Miralax, oatmeal pancake, sips of coffee, and yogurt. Coughed 2x.

MiraLAX dose today - 1 cap

9:40AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with yogurt. **Reclined geri chair one notch after for comfort.

9:50AM - Oral care.

10:00AM - Facial and hand care routine.

**Dried excess skin from left hand fell off. Applied Triamcinolone Acetonide cream on the same hand.

10:30AM - Went out for a walk.

11:10AM - Came back home from a good walk. Weather outside is nice - breezy but sunny. Maureen had a good time, was awake the whole time.

11:25AM - BP: 105/79, P: 61 bpm

**Maureen had 3/4 of cold ginger tea.

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet with very light yellowish vaginal discharge. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Position to face her right side.

12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry - no discharges. We dressesd her and transferred to the kitchen.

12:40PM - Lunch was chicken salad, beets and veggie soup. Maureen finished a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

1:15PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen comfortably sitting on her recliner - awake, listening to the music.

**Finished the 1/4 cup of ginger tea that was left.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet, no discharges. We cleaned and changed her, position to face her left side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. Dressed Maureen and transferred to the front room.

3:42PM - Maureen had half a cup of lemon water. Fruit snack, followed (kiwi, pear and melon).
