Friday, May 23, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen woke up due to cough. We gave her sips of water via swab after. She went back to sleep 5mins after.


8:30AM - Maureen is still sleeping, on her left side.


8:55AM - Maureen opened her eyes, looking more awake. No signs of any distress. We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.


BP: 100/64, P: 59bpm


9:15AM - Me and Dalia gave Maureen a full body bed bath using warm water and Cetaphil cleanser. Diaper was dry with a tiny brownish spot. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. We finished dressinf and transferred to the front room.


9:40AM - She took 10 oz of lemon water. Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.


9:50AM - Breakfast - waffle with blueberry jam, 2oz coffee and 6 oz prune juice. Maureen coughed 2x.


10:20AM - Oral care.


10:30AM - Neb treatment with saline soln.


10:45AM - Facial and hand care routine.


11:30AM - Maureen was relaxed while on chair, stayed awake. She tried to cough a few times to get rid of the phlegm in her throat.


We transferred her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we placed her to face the right side.


12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with XL soft BM. We cleaned and changed thoroughly. Got Maureen dressed and moved to the front room.


12:45PM - Lunch - sweet pea soup, shrimp salad and avocado. Maureen had 12 oz of rootbeer. Coughed 2x.


1:30PM - Oral care.


2:00PM - Maureen's leaning back comfortably.


2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. We position for her to face the left side.


3:30PM - 2nd rest break is over. Diaper was

clean and dry. We proceed to dressed Maureen and transferred to the front room.


3:45PM - Fruit snack time (apple, banana and melon).


Total liquid intake - 28 oz
