Friday, March 24 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is sleeping.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still asleep.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is still sound asleep.

• 7:44 am- Maureen opened her eyes and after a minutes there was a slight twitching. Her pulse picked at 125 for a quick moment and started going down quickly. Maureen's eyes were normal, she was blinking, her hands were not clenched. Twitching was minimal. The whole episode lasted about 5 minutes. At 7:54 her pulse is in the 70-s and she is drifting off to sleep.

• 8:15 Maureen is awake now .

• 8:30 am- We started our day. Maureen's diaper was light wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed Maureen's upper body. We saw 4 new raised red spots on her neck, like the ones she had a few days ago. Applied hydrocortisone. Finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:45 am- Breakfast- pancake with peach jam and half of banana, 8 oz of prune juice, cup of lemon water. We started with administering Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen coughed once.

• 9:14 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril with apple sauce.

• 9:15 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair after.

• 9:20 am- Facial routine.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is resting in the chair.

• 10:30 am- Half a smoothie. Maureen did not cough.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a change and her first rest break. Diaper was dry ( indicating line was still yellow) , but had a large soft and messy bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned Maureen thoroughly, changed and positioned her on the right side at 11:20 am.

• 12:20 pm- First rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- meatballs soup, shrimp salad, steamed cauliflower, bottle of coconut water. She enjoyed half of chocolate chip cookie. Maureen coughed three times.

• 1:00 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair after.

• 1:30 pm- Maureen finished her second cup of lemon water. She is resting, giving us lots of smiles, listening to the music.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a change and the second rest break. Her diaper was heavy wet and she had a small soft bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:20 pm.

• 3:20 pm- Rest break #2 ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:35 pm- Fruit snack. One cough.

• Maureen's stomach has been rumbling throughout the day. We didn't see any signs of discomfort though. She was calm and smiled a lot.
