Friday, March 21, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was still sleeping, looking comfortable while lying on her left side.

8:30AM - Maureen woke up, no signs of distress or any pain noted. We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - Me and Joanna gave Maureen a full body bed bath with warm water and Cetaphil cleanser. Red spot from yesterday is almost gone - applied Aquafor ointment, no more additional red spot on skin. Diaper was dry, no vaginal discharge. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. We got Maureen dressed and proceed to wash her hair.

9:10AM - We transferred Maureen to the kitchen for a quick hair blow-dry and styling.

**Reclined geri chair one notch before breakfast for comfort.

She had 10oz of lemon water before breakfast. Breakfast is Italiano egg ala Joanna 😋, pear, and 8oz prune juice. Coughed once.

No MiraLAX dose today.

9:50AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

10:10AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine followed.

10:30AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.

11:00AM - Carolyn came by.

11:35AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we placed her on the right side.

**Maureen closed her eyes for a nap atleast for 30mins.

12:00PM - Catie, RN from Journey Care arrived for the re-certification.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. We dressed and transferred Maureen to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch was chicken-rice soup, beets and crackers. She had 10oz of sparkling water and 8 oz of lemon water. Coughed 2x.

**We reclined geri chair one notch prior to lunch for comfort.

1:25PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen was comfortable while sitting on the chair, very awake.

2:35PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with medium formed BM. We cleaned and changed her, position to face the left side.

2:40PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed her and moved to the front room.

2:50PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
