Friday, March 17 Daytime update

🍀 Happy St. Patrick's Day🍀

• 6:30 am- Maureen is asleep.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still deeply asleep.

• 7:23 am - Maureen opened her eyes. I placed the oxymeter on her finger. Pulse was 85 and going up. Her shoulders and arms started twitching. Eyes were normal, blinking. At 7:25 pulse reached 121 but immediately started going down. It stayed in the 105-115 range for about 10 minutes before getting below 100. Twitching slowly stopped.

• 7:50 am - Maureen is calm, looks sleepy, closing her eyes. Pulse is 71.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is asleep .

• 8:30 am- Maureen is opening her eyes at times, but is drifting back to sleep.

• 9:00 am- Maureen is waking up.

• 9:15 am- Maureen looks awake and alert. We started our day. Diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We next washed Maureen's upper body. There was no redness observed. Put the Irish green t- shirt on and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:30 am- We administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:35 am- Breakfast- oatmeal with banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1 cup of Miralax. Maureen coughed three times and sneezed once.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1 cup.

• 10:10 am- We reclined Maureen's chair.

• 10:20 am- Morning oral care.

• 10 30 am- Maureen was snoozing in the chair.

• 10:45 am- Maureen sneezed and coughed a few times, able to cough up some phlegm.

• 11:00 am- Half a smoothie. Two coughs.

• 11:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned her on the right side at 11:40 am.

• 12:30 pm- Rest break is now over. Maureen's diaper was still dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:40 pm- Lunch- vegetable soup, chicken salad, steamed red beets, bottle of coconut water. Three coughs.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her . Maureen will lie kn her left side for an hour starting at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry .Dressed and headed to the living room

• 3:30 pm- Fresh fruit snack.
