Friday March 1, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is awake, sleepy though. Tom tells she’s been in and out of sleep since 6ish.

• 8:20am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:30am Marianne and I started the day giving Maureen an upper body bath, cleaning and changing a light wet diaper, applying Cavilon barrier and cream. No redness observed. Dressed then headed to the kitchen.

• 8:50am Administered 2-50mg Senna plus pills (crushed) with apple sauce and a cup of lemon water.

• 9:05am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice, oatmeal/blueberries pancake topped with 3 prunes (chopped), fresh pear, and coffee. Maureen coughed twice, was able get rid of some phlegm on her own.

• 9:35am Administered 10mg loratadine with yogurt.

• No miralax, senna plus instead.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:40am Morning oral care.

• 9:50am Facial routine.

• 10:30am Maureen sits relaxed while watching a Disney movie. At the end, she napped for about 20 minutes during the film.

• 11:15am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Cleaned/changed a medium wet diaper and positioned on her right side.

• 12:15pm First break ends. Diaper was md wet, cleaned/changed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30pm Blood pressure: 105/63, P 74.

• 12:35pm Lunch: white beans soup, chicken salad, steamed broccoli, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Coughed once.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 1:10pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen rests comfortably while listening to her playlist. She’s been well awake, alert and in good spirits.

• 2:25pm Maureen finishes drinking a cup of lemon water.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second break. Cleaned/changed a medium wet diaper then positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Cleaned and changed a medium wet diaper; dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi).
