Friday, June 30 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep . Tom said that she was calm when opened her eyes about five minutes ago. Drifting off to sleep now.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. There are occasional legs movements .

• 7:30 am- Maureen opens her eyes when she moves her legs and goes back to sleep. It happened a few times during the last hour. Her arms and hands are not moving or twitching. When she wakes up she barely keeps her eyes open. Goes back to sleep quickly.

• 8:00 am- Maureen continues to be in and out of sleep. She seems more relaxed the last half an hour.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is awake. We raised the bed and administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:45 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed. There was some vaginal discharge- clear in color and thick. We applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00 am- Breakfast- Smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. We reclined the chair.

• 9:25 am- Morning oral care.

• 9:30 am- Facial routine.

• 10:30 am- Maureen is snoozing on and off. She is quiet, tired and sleepy. There are no signs of discomfort. She is not receptive to water.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to bed. Her diaper was medium wet. There was a little vaginal discharge. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. She will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:15 pm.

• 12:15 pm- Maureen's first rest break is over. Her diaper was dry, but we took it off. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. There was no discharge. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- Vegetable soup, parm crisps with hummus, fresh peeled tomato, cup of lemon water, half of. Chobani yogurt cup. Maureen coughed twice, sneezed twice.

• 1:10 pm- Oral care.

• 1:30 pm- Maureen is resting in the chair, she is enjoying listening to the music, finishing her second cup of water for today. There are no signs of discomfort.

• 2:10 pm- We transferred Maureen to bed. Diaper was medium wet, no discharge. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her left side for an hour starting at 2:25 pm.

• 3:25 pm- Maureen's second rest break ends. Diaper was medium wet. There was no discharge. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

• 3:40 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, kiwi and pear. No coughs.
