Friday July 5, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s asleep, lying on her left side.

• 8:30am Merianne and Tom administered 75mcg Levothyroxine after Maureen waking up calmly and accepted sips of water, some 20 minutes ago.

• 8:40am Started the day by giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00am Breakfast: Banana, cup of lemon water, oatmeal/blueberries pancake and coffee. No coughs.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:30am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

• Daily miralax dosage: None

• 9:40:am Oral care.

• 9:50am Facial routine performed.

• 10:20am Albuterol and saline Neb treatment.

• 10:50am Maureen sits with relaxed hands and awake while watching a Disney movie.

• 11:20am Blood pressure: 108/59, P 73.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper it’s dry, dry, positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper it’s dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Ham and cheese grilled sandwich, fresh tomato, full cup of root beer and mandarin orange for dessert. Coughed once.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 1:30pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen is in good spirits. She’s been chatty and smiling since we got her up.

• Maureen had a cup of lemon water.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper and positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) with half cup of water. No coughs.
