Friday July 19, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen just woke up, she’s calmed. As per Tom, Maureen was awake earlier around 7 and went back shortly after.

• 8:20am Maureen’s awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:30am Merianne and I started the day by giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, some vaginal discharge observed. Applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:50am Administered 50mg Senna plus (crushed) with apple sauce and a cup of lemon water after.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:05am Breakfast: Oatmeal/blueberries pancake with strawberry jam and yogurt, coffee and a cup of lemonade. Coughed once.

• 9:20am administered 10mg loratadine and 500mg CIPROFLOXACIN with yogurt.

• Daily Miralax dosage: None, Senna plus instead.

• 9::45am Oral care and facial routine performed.

• Maureen is smiling and verbal after breakfast 🙏.

• 10:00am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. She stayed alert all the way.

• 11:00am Back home, Maureen is treated with a saline and albuterol Neb therapy.

• Maureen had 1/3 cup of cranberry juice.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, and then positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper it’s dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Blood pressure: 110/68, P 67.

• 12:50pm Lunch: Grilled turkey and cheese sandwich, tomato, full cup of cranberry juice and rice pudding for dessert. Coughed twice.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 1:35pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen sits alert and in good spirits while listening to her playlist.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, then positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper it’s dry, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) and 1/2 cup of melon water.
