Friday, Jan. 24, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen is sleeping and lying on her left side. Tom informed that she woke up around 7:15am with slight twitching that last between 15-20mins. She had sips of water via swab after that and went back to sleep.

8:30AM - Maureen slightly opened her eyes and went back to sleep again.

9:00AM - She's still sleeping.

9:30AM - Maureen opened her eyes, very calm. No signs of pain or distress observed, and definitely looking like ready to start her day. We placed her in an upright position 10mins after, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

BP: 103/62, P: 62 bpm

9:50AM - Me and Dalia gave Maureen a full body bed bath with warm water, using Cetaphil cleanser. No redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. We then dressed her after and proceed to wash her hair.

10:15AM - We transferred Maureen to the kitchen to blow-dry and styler her hair.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort prior to breakfast.

Breakfast - pancake drizzled with syrup, pear, and half a cup of coffee. Maureen finished a cup of lemon water as well. Coughed 3x. Used suction machine once.

No MiraLAX dose today.

**Maureen is a little phlemy today and a runny nose.

11:00AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine followed.

11:30AM - Maureen looking relaxed and awake while sitting on the chair.

Barb arrived to visit Maureen.

12:00PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, position to face her right side.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper is still dry. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

12:50PM - Lunch - tuna salad, beets, veggie soup and a cup of rootbeer. Maureen coughed once.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

1:40PM - Oral care.

**Maureed looked tired today however, stayed awake.

2:00PM - Nurse Catie from Journey Care came by for recertification.

2:30PM - Maureen had half a cup of lemon water. We then, transferred her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with small soft BM, we cleaned and changed. Position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed her and transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Maureen had half a cup of pedialyte followed by fruit snack (banana, apple and melon).
