Friday, February 24 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. Tom administered 0.1 ml of Lorazepam at 6:15 am.

• 7::00 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep. She is calm and relaxed, no signs of distress.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is closing her eyes at times. She is still very relaxed.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is awake and we are starting the day. Diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied: M Cavilon products. We next washed Maureen's upper body. We saw a redness under her right breast. Applied a thin layer of nystatin. Finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:45 am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8 :47 am- Breakfast- oatmeal, banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. Two coughs.

• 9:00 am- TeleVisit with Dr. Purinson.

• 9:17 am- Administered Lisinopril and 1 tablet of Cyprofloxacin with apple sauce.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

• We reclined Maureen's chair prior to the oral care because of her slumping.

• 9:40 am- Morning oral care.

• 9:45 am- Facial routine.

• 10:30 am- Smoothie time . Maureen was very tired, her head was down .

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was light wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:15 am.

• 12:15 pm- Rest break # 1 ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- butternut squash soup, tuna salad, mango and pineapple salsa, bottle of coconut water. We reclined Maureen's chair prior to feeding her. One cough.

• 1:30 pm- Maureen is resting in the chair. She looks more awake and alert than this morning. She is not congested, no runny nose. Her eyes are open, she doesn't look sleepy.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Her diaper was heavy wet and she just had a medium formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:20 pm.

• 3:20 pm- Second rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:35 pm- Fresh fruit snack. No coughs.
