Friday, Dec. 27, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's awake, still looking a little

bit sleepy while lying on her left side.

8:35AM - We placed her in an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

Maureen went back to close her eyes to sleep after.

9:00AM - Maureen was awaken by her cough, tried to assist with a suction however, she was not able to cough it out. We proceed to give her a full bed bath. No redness or rashes on upper body. Diaper was dry with small, yellowish vaginal discharge. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. Washed her hair after and transferred to the kitchen to blow-dry and style her hair.

**No more signs of rashes or redness on the back of her right leg.

9:35AM - Administered 1 tab of 800mg Acyclovir (crushed) and 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

**Maureen coughed and was able to cough out phlegm herself.

..continue to style her hair. Chair reclined one notch for comfort.

9:50AM - Maureen had pancake, apple and a cup of water. Coughed 3x.

No MiraLAX dose today.

10:40AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine.

11:00AM - Maureen stayed awake, looking very relaxed while sitting on the chair.

11:30AM - She finished half a cup of Pedia-lyte and half a cup of water. We transferred her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned dried and changed her. Position to face the right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Maureen's diaper was clean and dry. Proceed to dressed her and moved to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch - turkey with cheese sandwich, fresh sliced tomato, and a cup of rootbeer. Coughed 2x.

1:20PM - Oral care.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

2:00PM - We moved to the front room, watched a classic movie - A Beautiful Life. Maureen was awake the entire time.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We got Maureen dressed and transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Maureen took 1/4 cup of water prior to her fruit snack (banana and apple).
