Friday, August 18 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake, Tom is by her side giving her some water with the swab.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is closing her eyes, going back to sleep.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is waking up, she is calm.

• 8:30 am - Maureen is fully awake . We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:45 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed Maureen's upper body. There is still redness on her inner left underarm fold. Applied hydrocortisone. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00 am- Breakfast- Oatmeal smoothie, 4 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, half of yogurt. Two coughs.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 9:30 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin and 25 mg of Metoprolol.

• We couldn't get a reading for Maureen's BP. Will try later.

• 9:35 am- Maureen is enjoying Coleen's visit.

• 9:40 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 9:45 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

• 9:55 am- Morning facial routine.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is sleeping in the chair.

• 10:30 am- Maureen is awake, having lemon water.

• 11:15 am- Maureen finished a cup of lemon water. We transferred her to the bedroom. Diaper was dry. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:25 am.

• 11:45 am- Maureen is sleeping in bed with Coleen sitting next to her.

• 12:25 pm- first rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry.. We dressed and transferred her to the kitchen

• 12:35 pm- Lunch- Vegetable soup, grilled shrimp, red beets, yogurt, 12 oz of Spindrift. Maureen finished everything, coughed three times. Her nose was running. We reclined the chair during lunch because her head was down.

• 1:15 pm- Oral care.

• 1:45 pm- Maureen is resting in the chair,

• 2:15 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was heavy wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:30 pm.

• 3:30 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was heavy wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:45 pm- Fresh melon and apple snack. No coughs.
