Friday, Aug. 22, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's still sound asleep while on her left side. O2 at 96% room air, P: 65bpm

8:30AM - She's still sleeping.

8:45AM - Maureen started to move and eventually opened her eyes, she looked well rested - gave her sips of water via swab. No signs of distress. We placed her on her back and in an upright position administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

BP: 103/57

9:05AM - Neb treatment with saline.

9:20AM - Me and Dalia gave Maureen a full body bed bath with warm water and Cetaphil cleanser. No redness on skin. Diaper was clean and dry. We changed her, applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. We dressed her and proceed to wash the hair.

9:45AM - We transferred to the kitchen. Maureen had 8oz of lemon water and administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

Breakfast - pancake with syrup and pear. Maureen took 8oz of prune juice with 1/2 cap MiraLAX. She coughed 2x and sneezed 3x.

10:30AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine.

10:45AM - Out for a quick walk.

11:20AM - Came back from the walk. Maureen stayed awake the entire time.

11:35AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, we got Maureen dressed and transferred to the front room.

12:45PM - Lunch - tuna salad, mixed veggies and bean soup. Maureen took 10 oz water with electrolyte powder. She had episodes of coughing (dry) and sneezing.

1:20PM - Oral care.

2:00PM - Maureen is relaxed while sitting, looking sleepy but remained awake.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. We position to face the right side.

3:40PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Got her dressed and moved to the front room.

3:50PM - Maureen took 4oz of lemon water before her fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon).
