Friday, April 28 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen's eyes are open. She is calm, laying on her left side. Pulse is 60, O2 - 96, T- 97.3 .

• 6:40 am- Maureen goes back to sleep..

• 7:00 am- Maureen is sleeping.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is asleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is waking up now.

• 8:45 am- Maureen looks ready to start the day. We raised the bed and administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen's diaper was dry. Dalia and I proceeded with giving Maureen a full body bed bath. There were no redness observed. The discolored spot on her sacrum area is still visible, the skin is intact. We applied 3 M Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Dressed and transferred Maureen in the Geri chair.

• 9:15 am- Breakfast- homemade buttermilk pancake with maple syrup, 1/3 of a pear, 8 oz of prune juice. Maureen coughed twice, sneezed once.

• 9:45 pm- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 10:30 am- Maureen finished a cup of lemon water.

• 11:10 am- Half a smoothie. No coughs.

• 11:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the bed. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. She will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:45 am.

• 12:45 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and proceeded with the hair wash. Transferred Maureen to the Geri chair after.

• 1:00 pm- Drying and styling Maureen's hair.

• 1:05 pm- Lunch- - chili soup, shrimp salad, steamed cauliflower, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice. She finished her cup of water.

• 1:35 pm- Oral care. Maureen's gum on the upper right side was bleeding. It looks a little inflamed. We reclined the chair after.

• 2:10 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bed. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:25 pm.

• 3:25 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen in the recliner.

• 3:40 pm- Fresh fruit snack.
