Friday, April 14 Daytime update

6:30 am- Maureen is asleep.
7:00 am- Maureen is sleeping.
7:30 am- Maureen is still deeply asleep.
8:00 am- Maureen is opening her eyes from time to time, but goes back to sleep again.
8:30 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep.
9:00 am- Maureen is awake and alert, we started the day. Diaper was dry. Dalia and I washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
9:10 am- Breakfast- oatmeal, 1/3 of banana. 8 oz mix of prune juice and water with 1/2 cup of Miralax. We started with administering Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen coughed twice during breakfast. She finished prune juice/ water cup.
9:30 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril with apple sauce.
Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.
9:35 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.
9:40 am- Facial routine.
10:00 am - Maureen is snoozing in the chair.
10:30 am- Maureen is waking up.
10:45 am- Half a smoothie.
11:10 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a change and her first rest break. Diaper was wet and had an extra large loose and extremely messy bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned Maureen thoroughly. Changed and positioned her on the right side at 11:45 am.
12:15 pm- A visit from social worker Jill .
12:45 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
1:00 pm- Lunch- creamy potatoe soup, tuna salad, steamed asparagus, cup of mixed water with coconut water. Maureen coughed twice. We reclined Maureen's chair during lunch because she was leaning forward.
1:30 pm- Oral care.
2:00 pm- Maureen finished her second cup of lemon water .
2:15 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was heavy wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. She will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:30 pm.
3:30 pm- Second rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. Dressed and headed to the front room.
3:45 pm- Fresh fruit snack. One cough.
Maureen was sleepy and tired in the morning, with no energy. She looked better and recharged after her first rest break.
