February 5 daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is sound asleep. She is lying on her left side.

• 8:30am Maureen is stirring. She is in and out of sleep.

• 8:40am Maureen is now awake.

• 8:47am Merianne and I helped Maureen to an upright position in bed. Administered 75 mcg Levothyroxine with applesauce.

• 9:00am We began our day. Maureen's diaper is dry. There is a white discharge present. Applied Cavilon barrier film to the sacral area and Cavilon barrier cream to appropriate areas. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:17am Administered 10mg Loratidine with applesauce.

• 9:25am Breakfast - one egg omelet with ham and onion, pear, cup of water, 8 oz prune juice.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage - 1 cap

• 9:48am Oral care.

• 9:53am Merianne and I reclined Maureen's geri chair down one notch for her comfort.

• 10:04am Morning facial routine.

• 10:30am Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 11:00am Visit with Kelsie, RN

  • Vitals: Temp 97.7, BP 110/54, arm circumference 22 in, thigh circumference 32 in.

  • We voiced concerns to Kelsie about the discharge, explained that Maureen's Gynecologist Dr. Cockrum told us that the discharge is likely from the large polyp and not Bacterial Vaginosis since the discharge is clear and has no odor. This is why Maureen was not given the Metronidazole.

• 11:38am We headed to the bedroom for rest break #1. Maureen's diaper is dry. Maureen will lie on her right side for one hour starting at 11:45am.

• 12:45pm Rest break #1 ends. Maureen's diaper is dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:51pm Lunch - shrimp salad, lentil soup, sweet peppers, and steamed zucchini. Cup of coconut water.

• 1:16pm Oral care.

• 1:30pm Merianne and I reclined Maureen's geri chair down one notch for her comfort.

• 2:00pm Maureen is starting to doze off in the geri chair.

• 2:30pm We headed to the bedroom for rest break #2. Maureen's diaper is heavy wet - Merianne and I performed a clean and change. White discharge present, no odor. Maureen will lie on her left side for one hour starting at 2:40pm.

• 2:37pm Administered suppository.

• 3:40pm Rest break #2 ends. Maureen had large, soft bowel movement. White discharge present with no odor. Merianne and I performed a clean and change and headed to the front room after.

• 3:50pm Fruit snack.
