December 6 daytime update

• 6:30AM - Maureen is awake. Diaper is dry.

• 6:50AM - Maureen remains awake. Diaper continues to be dry.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:30AM. She is alert and engaged. Maya first applies the Tolcylen to both big toes. Diaper was medium wet. We performed a clean and change. Next, Maya and I washed all areas of focus of Maureen's upper body. We noted a larger than normal red mark under the right breast. The mark actually went up the lower portion of the breast. We have not seen that in quite some time. See attached image. Maya applied a thin layer of Nystatin Ointment to this area. No other areas required the application of Nystatin.

• Breakfast service started @ 9:05AM. Maureen is tilting fairly hard to the left in the geri chair. We tilted the geri back one notch and used one green wedge pillow and Magic Mike to straighten her posture. Maya began by giving Maureen a teaspoon of Manuka honey followed by the thyroid medication. Breakfast was a bit of a challenge this morning. Maureen coughed eight times.

• Maureen will consume 6 ounces of prune juice today due to the fact that her last bowel movement was on 12-4-21 @ 12:35PM.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• 9:36AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication

• 9:46AM - Morning oral care routine

• 9:55AM - Eyelash cleaning and eye drops

• 10:05AM - Morning facial treatment

• 10:40AM - Morning fruit smoothie - all organic all the time. Maureen did not cough at all while drinking the smoothie.

• 11:30AM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was medium wet. Maureen also had small formed bowel movement. Maya and I perfumed a clean and change. We then set Maureen up on her left side.

• 11:46AM - Rest Break #1 begins. Maureen is on her left side.

• 12:30PM - Rest Break #1 ends. The diaper was dry. We dressed Maureen and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:47PM - Lunch | Maya prepared 1/2 a turkey sandwich with mayonnaise and melted cheese on toasted whole wheat, 1/2 a bowl of homemade butternut squash soup and 1/4 of a sliced tomato. Maureen will drink 1 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water. Lunch went down quite well. Maureen coughed just twice.

• 1:20PM - Afternoon oral care

• 2:00PM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #2. Diaper was medium wet. Maureen had a very small soft bowel movement. We performed a thorough clean and change and set Maureen up on her right side.

• 2:15PM - Rest Break #2 begins.

• 3:15PM - Rest Break #2 concludes. The diaper was medium wet. Maureen had a soft medium size bowel movement. We did a clean and change and got Maureen dressed. Next, it was off to the front room for some QT in the lift recliner and to watch some television.

• 3:35PM - Afternoon fruit snack. Maureen coughed twice during the fruit snack.
