December 23 daytime update

• December 23rd marks the annual celebration of Festivus. Click/tap here for a complete overview of this most sacred holiday.

• 635AM - Maureen is awake.

• 6:40AM - Maya checked the diaper. It is wet.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:10AM. Before getting started, we used the adjustable bed to prop Maureen up to 90 degrees in order to give her some sips of water. She truly enjoys it. Diaper was medium wet. We did a clean and change. Maya then cleaned all the areas of focus on Maureen's upper body with Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam and warm wipes from the purple packet. All areas of focus on the upper body look very good. The area under the right breast was a bit red. Maya applied a thin layer of Nystatin Ointment to this area.

• Breakfast service commenced at 8:52AM. Maureen is tilting to the left in the geri chair. We adjusted her posture with both wedge pillows and Magic Mike. Maya began by giving Maureen a teaspoon of Manuka Honey followed immediately by the thyroid medication with applesauce.

• Maureen will drink 6 ounces of prune juice this morning. Bottle was almost empty. We wanted to finish it off.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• Maureen is more confected than normal. She is also sneezing and coughing quite a bit. As a precaution, we checked some key vitals. Temp is 83.4. Oxygen level is 97. Pulse is 83.

• 9:24AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication.

• 9:40AM- Morning oral care

• 9:50AM - Eyelash cleaning and eye drops

• 10:35AM - Organic fruit smoothie. Maureen coughed twice.

• 10:55AM - Maya and I took Maureen to the bedroom for Rest Break #1. Diaper was medium wet. We perfumed a clean and change and then positioned Maureen on her left side.

• 11:08AM - Rest Break #1 begins.

• 12:08PM - Rest Break #1 ends. Diaper was medium wet. Maureen also had a medium formed bowel movement. We perfumed a clean and change and got her ready for a hair shampoo and style by Maya.

• 12:15PM - Hair shampoo and style by the MA in KAMA.

• 12:55PM - Lunch | Ham and cheese on toasted whole wheat, 1/2 bowl of homemade mushroom soup and a serving of asparagus. Maureen will drink one 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water.

• 1:35PM - Afternoon oral care

• 2:00PM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #2. The diaper was medium wet. After completing a clean and change, Maya and I positioned Maureen on her right side.

• 2:18PM - Rest Break #2 begins.

• 3:10PM - Rest Break #2 concludes. Diaper is medium wet. Once Maya and I completed the clean and change, we headed to the front room.

• 3:30PM - Afternoon fruit snack.
