Christmas Day Swingshift summary

3:45 pm, We were sitting at the dining room table, waiting for dinner. Carolyn prepared a delicious beef tenderloin, three cheese pasta dish, with mixed veggies, consisting of Brussel sprouts, carrots and spinach. About 2/3 of a cup of lemon water accompanied dinner.

Maureen ate pretty well, especially the pasta and veggies, after a short break, time for some dessert. Chef Carolyn prepared some bread pudding and banana pie … EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS 😋

Maureen took a nap, probably 25 minutes, we reclined the Geri chair all the way back for her comfort.

5:40pm, Luda assisted me giving her the evening meds, 12.5ml VIMPAT and

5mg OLANZAPINE with applesauce.

Shortly after meds, I assisted Luda with oral care, then we transferred to the bedroom.

6:00pm, We changed and cleaned a medium wet diaper followed by cleaning face, hands and arms.

Cetaphil was applied to face, arms, hands, legs and feet, as usual.

Lying on her left side, she was asleep by 6:45.
