  • 6:35AM - Maureen goes back and forth between sleep and being awake.

  • 7:00AM - I went into the bedroom to check on Maureen. She was awake. I gave her a few sips of water from the swab. Massaged her forehead for a few minutes. She fell back asleep.

  • 8:15AM - Maureen remains asleep. Djon is sitting with her.

  • 8:45AM - Maureen is sleeping—rather soundly. Djon remains in the bedroom with Maureen. I am seated at the kitchen table.

  • 9:01AM - No change—still sleeping.

  • 9:09AM - Maureen opened her eyes. She was completely unresponsive. Fists were slightly clenched. Her upper arms were spasming occasionally. There was an occasional twitch in her mouth.

  • 9:13AM - We administered the first 0.5ml dose of Lorazepam

  • 9:17AM - We administered the second 0.5ml dose of Lorazepam

  • 9:21AM - We administered the third 0.5ml dose of Lorazepam

  • 9:24AM - We administered the fourth 0.5ml dose of Lorazepam

  • 9:30AM - Symptoms began to subside. Tom came home, sat by the bedside and comforted Maureen.

  • 9:45AM - Maureen continues to remain calm. She is starting to fall asleep.

  • 11:00AM - Maureen continues to sleep soundly. Djon is taking her vitals approximately every half hour. All vitals remain in their normal ranges.

  • 12:07PM - After consulting with Elizabeth, Djon and I decided to perform a clean and change since Maureen last had a fresh undergarment at approximately 6:00AM. The diaper was heavy wet. Maureen only opened her eyes briefly during the entire process.

  • 12:15PM - Djon and I placed Maureen on her right side. She had been on her left side for more than six hours.

  • 2:21PM - Maureen remains asleep. She is starting to stir a bit more.

  • 3:20PM - Djon and I performed a clean & change. The diaper was medium wet. Maureen began to wake up as we started the process. Since things went well, we decided to get her out of bed and to the front room.

  • 3:40PM - Maureen is now resting comfortably in her lift recliner.

  • 3:45PM - Fruit snack

  • 3:55PM - Tom and Djon administered all of the morning medications other than the Claritin. Maureen also took her first dose of Keppra at this time.
