August 21, Thursday, Day Shift

8:00 am: Maureen's sleeping on her left side.


8:50 am: Maureen woke up, gave her sips of water via swab. She opened her eyes, calm and relaxed.

We placed her on her back and in an upright position administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

BP: 99/58


9:10 am: Nebulizer treatment with saline.


9:20 am: Me and Dalia washed Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes (no redness on skin)

Medium wet diaper.

We cleaned and changed her.

Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs.

We finished dressing and moved to the kitchen.


9:35 am: 9 oz of water with lemon.

Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.


9:45 am: Breakfast : Scrambled egg with tomato, red pepper and cheese and fresh pear.

Maureen coughed 3 times and sneezed twice.


9:55 am: 8 oz of prune juice.


10:05 am: Oral care.

Eye care/eye drops routine.

Facial and hand care routine after.


10:15 am to 11:00 am: we were outside 😊


11:30 am: We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for the first rest break.

Dry diaper.

Position to face the right side.


12:30 pm: first rest break ended.

Dry diaper.

We got Maureen dressed and proceed to the front room.


12:45 pm: Lunch: chicken salad, bean soup and avocado.

11 oz of coconut water.

Maureen coughed four times during the lunch.


1:15 pm: Oral care.

Maureen is sneezing a lot.


2:30 pm: We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break.

Very wet diaper. We cleaned and changed her.

Position to face the right side.

3:30 pm: second rest break ended.

Dry diaper.

We dressed her and transferred to the living room.


3:45 pm: Maureen had 2 oz of lemon water.

Fruit snack: kiwi, pear and melon.


**Total liquid intake : 30 oz
