April 7, 2021 Swingshift Update

4:00pm Maureen is sitting comfortably in her recliner watching tv. 4:50pm Tom and I transferred Maureen to her wheelchair using the Hoyer lift. 5:10pm Maureen is going to the bathroom. She urinates (cloudy) and has a bowel movement (formed, normal odor). Pull-up is wet, changed and dry pull-up put on. 5:15pm Maureen is up in her wheelchair sitting by the front door. 5:45pm Maureen has had two full cups of water at this time. 6:20pm Dinner time. Maureen ate 100% of her chicken pot pie and drank one full cup of water. 7:10pm Administered 10mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5mL VIMPAT.

7:12pm Maureen had an episode where she would not swallow her water and pocketed it in her mouth. She eventually swallowed all of it after four minutes. 7:17pm Administered Flonase one spray in each nostril. 7:35pm Maureen is getting ready for bed. Tom and I transferred Maureen from her wheelchair to her bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is dry, new diaper put on. Vicks applied to chest and both left and right big toe. humidifier refilled and turned on. Maureen is turned lying on her left side. 7:50pm Maureen is in bed and asleep. 8:10pm Maureen is coughing and sounds congested. I used the bulb to clear her nose of secretions. 8:25pm Maureen is still coughing. I turned her to her right side.
