April 27, 2021 Swingshift Update

4:00pm Maureen is lying in recliner while working with sister Roberta. 5:10pm Maureen is up to the bathroom. Her pull-up and pants are very wet. She did not urinate. Her bladder is no longer distended. Performed perineal care. Blood was mixed with some stool. 5:30pm Tom and I took Maureen outside for a walk. 6:15pm Dinner time. Maureen ate 100% of her jambalaya and had one cup of water. Maureen sat upright for the entire meal without assistance of green wedge pillows. 7:00pm Administered 10mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after. 7:50pm Bed time. Transferred Maureen to bed. Her pull-up is wet, performed perineal care and put on new diaper. I checked her bladder and gladly found no distention. No blood noted from rectum. Applied Desitin to perineal area and rectum. Applied Vicks to chest and both right and left big toe. Maureen is turned to her left side. 8:15pm Maureen is sound asleep.
