Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's awake however, looking sleepy - she's facing her left side. Tom informed that she woke up aroung 7:10am.

8:15AM - Maureen closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

8:30AM - Maureen opened her eyes, waited 10 mins and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:50AM - Me and Joanna started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was medium wet, no vaginal discharges. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Dressed and moved to the kitchen.

9:00AM - Breakfast - oatmeal/fruit smoothie and Activia yogurt. She had a cup (12 oz) of lemon water. Maureen coughed 3-4x, sneezed multiple times. Used suction machine to aid getting rid of the phlegm.

No MiraLAX today.

9:20AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:35AM - Neb treatment using Saline sol'n to loosen phlegm.

9:50AM - Oral care.

10:00AM - Facial and hand care routine.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

10:30AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.

11:00AM - Kelsie, RN and Meghan came in to visit.

T - 97.8

P - 72 bpm

BP: 106/54

22 cm - arm circumference

32 cm - leg circumference

Normal active bowel sounds.

No abnormal lung sounds heard.

11:15AM - Maureen finished 12 oz of coconut water mixed with half water.

11:30AM - Maureen moved to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position Maureen on her back on bed, bed of head slightly elevated.

Changed Maureen's position facing her right side.

12:15PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Finished dressing and moved to the kitchen.

12:25PM - Lunch - chicken noodle soup with crackers. Maureen finished a cup of water. Coughed 2x and sneezed 2x.

12:50PM - Oral care.

1:00PM - On our way to Maureen's transvaginal and abdominal ultrasound. She tolerated the procedure very well.

2:00PM - Maureen had a heavy wet diaper with small formed bowel movement. Cleaned/dried and changed her.
