  • 7:00 am - Maureen is in and out of sleep. Her arms are relaxed.

  • 7:30 am - Maureen is still jn and out of sleep.

  • 8:00 am - Maureen is waking up. Will give her a few more minutes.

  • 8:15 am- Maureen is alert enough to begin the day. Dalia and I started with giving Maureen a full body bed bath. We used the warm wipes from the purple package and Aloe Vesta. The diaper was medium wet. Cleaned, changed and applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream . Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 8:44 am- Administered Levothyroxine with a little apple sauce.

  • 8:45 am- Breakfast - oatmeal, banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of water. Maureen coughed once.

  • Daily Miralax dosage-- 1/2 cup.

  • 9:15 am - Lisinopril and Loratadin administered with apple sauce.

  • 9:17 am - Morning oral care.

  • 9:20 am- We reclined Maureen's chair down one notch for her comfort.

  • Maureen seems to have a good amount of energy this morning. She is talkative, smiling- great to see it. Her hands are relaxed and down. There is no congestion. Coughing is minimal. Position in the geri chair is centered with the help of the wedge pillows, but not tilting or leaning forward.

  • 10:30 am - Smoothie time . No coughs.

  • 11:00 am- We headed to the kitchen for Maureen's first break. The diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed. Positioned Maureen on her right side. She will lay down for an hour starting at 11:15 am.

  • 12:15 am- Rest break # 1 ends. The diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed. Dressed Maureen and washed her hair. Headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:35 pm - Styled Maureen's hair.

  • 12:45 pm - Lunch- lentils soup, eggs salad, half of peeled fresh tomato , bottle of coconut water, cup of water. Maureen coughed 4 times.

  • 1:15 pm - Oral care.

  • 1:25 pm- Ann Emberson , RN , made her weekly visit. She stated that Maureen looks great, her lungs were clear.. BP- 122/62, T- 98.8. Ann suggested adding something in Maureen's water, like unsweetened apple juice, to make it more flavorful , so hopefully she will drink more water this way.

  • 2:00 pm- We headed to the bedroom for Maureen's second rest break. The diaper was wet. During the cleaning process Maureen urinated. That made it heavy wet. We cleaned, changed and positioned Maureen on her left side . She will lay down for an hour starting at 2:20 pm.

  • 3:20 pm- Rest break # 2 is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:35 pm- Fresh fruit snack. Maureen coughed once.
