Wednesday December 14, 2022 Daytime Update

6:30am Maya reported thar Maureen’s sleeping on her left side on her arrival,That by

7:00am Maureen’s In and out of sleep, diaper was dry.

7:30am Her diaper was still dry. She’s sleeping.

7:55 Maureen just wake up, diaper is dry. We will give her some time to fully wake up.

8:24am Maureen’s pretty alert and ready to start our day. Maya and I performed a full body wash using warmed purple wipes w/Aloe vesta. Her diaper was dry however, she urinated while changing, md wet. Cavilon 3m film applied on Maureen’s sacrum area , nystatin onto redness spot by pelvic folding, plus cavilon cream onto her privates. Once dressed, we headed to the kitchen for breakfast.

8:50a—Levothyroxine w/apple juice followed by breakfast: oatmeal, banana, 8oz prune juice, glass of water.

Lisynopril and Loratadine w/apple juice is administered. Maureen coughed 3 times while eating.

9:20am-Oral care.

9:30am-We reclined the chair one notch and placed the red pillow behind her head for Maureen confort.

9:35am-Facial care routine is performed.

10:00am-By now Maureen‘s napping peacefully on her chair.

10:30- Maureen continue napping.

10:50-She’s coming out opening her eyes.

1100am-Smoothly time, she enjoyed very much. Coughed once.

11:15am- We take Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st nap. Diaper is md wet. We cleaned w/cavilon products. At 11:30am, on her Rt side, nap time #1 begins. Bed massage is turned on to prevent any bed sore.

12:20pm-Break #1 ends. Diaper is now md. wet, we changed and cleaned Maureen using 3m products. After putting on her pants, we continue to wash her hair. AppliEd moose to style Maureen’s hair.

12:40pm-We headed to the kitchen for lunch: tuna salad, fresh tomato, veggies soup and coconut water. She did not cough during lunch.

While lunching Maureen’s nurse Anne came for her weekly visit. She took her vitals and the numbers are good!!!

1:30pm-Oral care. We reclined Maureen’s chair one notch for her comfort.

2:00pm- We moved into the bedroom. Maureen’s diaper is Lg. wet. She’s cleaned and changed w/3m product, cream is applied. At 2:12pm break #2 begin. Bed massage is turned on. She’s on her Lt side.

3:10pm- Maureen’s diaper is dry so we dressed her and we go to the front room for her fruit snack and water, and to watching some tv. She cough twice.

Today’s Summary

In a nutshel, Maureen’s day has been a good one. Energy level was on the higher end calmed but managed to bring some words out, involuntarily movements were low. Nurse Anne states that Maureen’s vitals are looking good.
