Tuesday September 21, 2021 Dayshift Update

• 8:23am Our day begins. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet. Cleaned thoroughly, applied Cavilon barrier cream, Cavilon film to pressure sore area, and Mupirocin to the open area. Also applied Nystatin on red area under Maureen’s left breast. Put on a new pull-up and transferred to Geri chair using the Hoyer lift.

• 8:53am Upper and lower partial dentures replaced. Administered thyroid medication prior to breakfast.

• 8:54am Breakfast time. Maureen enjoyed a bowl of oatmeal, a banana, half a cup of prune juice, and she has consumed two cups of water.

• 9:23am Administered Lisinopril and baby aspirin.

• 9:25am Oral care followed by face wash and morning exercises.

• 10:10am We headed to the bathroom. Maureen’s diaper is dry. After 10 minutes, Maureen urinated a good amount but did not move her bowels. We headed to the front room after.

• 10:48am Smoothie time.

• 12:08pm Maureen’s pull-up is heavy wet, so we headed to the bathroom. After 10 minutes of no activity, we cleaned up, put on a new pull-up, and headed to the kitchen for lunch.

• 12:38pm Lunchtime. Maureen finished half a turkey sandwich, a serving of Brussels sprouts, lentil soup, and drank a full bottle of organic coconut water.

• 3:03pm Maureen’s pull-up is wet so we headed to the bedroom. Cleaned, applied Mupirocin to open areas, and put on a clean pull-up.

• 3:12pm Fruit snack time.
