Tuesday, Sept 2, 2025 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen sleeps peacefully lying on her left side.

• 8:30am Maureen is sleeping soundly.

• 9:20am Maureen calmly woke up 20 minutes ago, we now raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:22am Blood pressure: 104/65.

  Pulse: 56

  O2: 95

• 9:30am Marianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, applied a thin layer of nystatin to existent redness on Maureen’s left armpit and abdominal fold, after wiping and drying with a wash tonel. Clean/change a dry diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:50am Administered 10mg loratadine with apple sauce.

• 9:52am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, scrambled egg with cheese, banana and 8oz watermelon juice. Maureen coughed three times.

• 10:25am Oral care and facial routine performed.

• 10:40am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood.. She stayed alert all the way.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break . Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with a medium-formed BM, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Beans soup, rolled fish with steamed carrot, and 9oz lemon water. Maureen coughed and sneezed four times.

• 1:15pm Shelly, RN arrives for Maureen’s weekly visit:

  Lungs are clear

  Temp: 96.9

  Pulse: 78

  BP: 104/60

  She ecommended discontinuing the use of albuterol since we haven’t noticed any improvement with Maureen’s coughing, and continue the saline therapies

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her right side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple) and 7oz electrolite drink.

• Total liquids ingested: 33oz.
