Tuesday, March 21 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is asleep.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping. Pulse is 55, O2-96.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep.

• 8:20 am- Maureen is fully awake now. We started the day. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We noticed three new red spots on Maureen's right knee that look like bite marks. The ones we noticed yesterday on her left forearm were still visible. We applied hydrocortisone cream. We next washed Maureen's upper body. No redness observed there. Finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:35 am- Breakfast- oatmeal, half a banana, 8 oz of prune juice. We started with administering Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen coughed twice and sneezed three times.

• Daily Miralax dosage- none.

• 9:00 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril with apple sauce.

• 9:05 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair.

• 9:10 am- Facial routine.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is relaxing in the chair.

• 10:30 am- Half a smoothie. After finishing Maureen started coughing and sneezing a lot, with the red face and grinding sound.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was light wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:15 am.

• 12:15 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- chicken noodle soup, ham salad, steamed cauliflower, bottle of coconut water. Maureen had an episode of coughing and sneezing a lot, her nose was running during this few minutes. We reclined the chair because she leaned forward during coughing and sneezing. There was no red face.

• 1:00 pm- Oral care.

• 1:30 pm- Maureen is relaxing in the chair.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Her diaper was heavy wet and had a very small soft bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen . She will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Second rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. Dressed her and headed to the living room.

• Fresh fruit snack. One cough.

• Maureen had a nice day today. Her energy was good. After both rest breaks she looked refreshed and in good spirits. Position in the chair was straight, except after the coughing episode, when she leaned forward. She was trying to talk most of the day.
