Tuesday, January 31 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. She was getting a few sips of water via swab.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is closing her eyes from time to time. She is calm and relaxed. O2 is 94, Pulse- 63.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:00 Maureen opens her eyes from time to time.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is awake enough and ready to start the day. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied 3M Cavilon products- Barrier film on her sacrum area and Cavilon cream on the front. The belly button looks good, no redness. We washed it and dried. Abdominal fold looks much better, less redness , we cleaned and applied a thin layer of Nystatin. We left it to dry before putting the diaper on. Next we washed Maureen's upper body. No redness observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8: 50 am- Breakfast- oatmeal, banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. Started by administering Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen coughed once during breakfast.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1 cup.

• 9:30 am- Administered Lisinopril, Loratadin and 20 ml of Guaifenesin.

• Maureen had a good energy while eating this morning. She is not congested. We saw a big smile. Her hands are very relaxed.

• 935 am- Morning oral care and. We reclined Maureen's chair after.

• 9:40 - Facial routine.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is snoozing in the chair.

• 10:40 am- Half of fruit smoothie. No coughs, two sneezes.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. The diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side. She will lie down for an hour starting at 11:15 am.

• 12:15 pm- First rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was light wet. We cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- potato and veggies soup, chicken salad, steamed cauliflower, bottle of coconut water. Maureen did not cough, sneezed once.

• 1:00 pm- We reclined Maureen's chair down one notch.

• 1:30 pm- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:30 pm- Fresh fruit snack. No coughs during the fruit eating. Maureen coughed with a red face before starting the fruit, while drinking water.
