Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Tom was at bedside with Maureen, she's lying on her left side and is awake. According to Tom, Maureen woke up around 5:30am and has been sleeping in and out.

8:30AM - Maureen closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

8:50AM - Maureen opened her eyes. We raised the bed up 10mins after so we can administer 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:00AM - We started Maureen's day by washing her upper body using warmed purples wipes with Aloe Vesta. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum, Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

9:18AM - Administered Senna S (crushed) with apple sauce. Maureen had a cup of lemon water.

9:30AM - Breakfast started with 8oz of prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 2 prunes, and yogurt. Maureen coughed twice and was able to cough up the phlegm.

10:05AM - Oral care. Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

10:10AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:25AM - Maureen sitting on her geri chair, looking sleepy but awake.

10:50AM - BP: 115/72, P: 74 bpm

***Maureen napped for atleast 15-20mins.

11:30AM - Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen's 1st rest break. Diaper was dry. Position to face her right side.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet with small formed bowel movement. We cleaned and changed then, transferred to the kitchen.

12:50PM - Lunch was brussel sprout (with other veggies) soup, boiled egg, half toasted bread with guacamole, and yogurt. Maureen had a cup of coconut water as well. Coughed once.

**Reclined geri chair one notch.

1:40PM - Oral care.

2:15PM - Maureen had half a cup if cold ginger tea.

2:30PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Cleaned and changed, then position Maureen to face her left side at 2:40pm.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with very small formed bowel movement, we cleaned and changed her. Transferred Maureen to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
