Tuesday, December 27, 2022 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. She is chatty, Tom is by her side.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is closing her eyes from time to time.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. She is calm and relaxed.

• 8:00 am - Maureen is awake. Will give her a few more minutes to get ready.

• 8:15 am- Our day begins. Maureen's diaper was medium wet with a very small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed. Applied 3M products. Washed Maureen's upper body, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:40 am- Breakfast- oatmeal, banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of water. Started with administering Levothyroxine with a little apple sauce. Maureen coughed 4 times during breakfast. Finished with administering Lisinopril and Loratadin.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

• 9:15 am- Morning oral care.

• 9:25 am We reclined Maureen's geri chair one notch down for her comfort.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is snoozing in the chair.

• Maureen is very alert and talkative this morning. We saw a few smiles. Energy level is great. Position in the chair is perfect, with the support of the two green wedge pillows . Congestion is evident. There were a few sneezes. She's been able to get water without sweetening it.

• 10:30 am- Fruit smoothie. Maureen coughed twice.

• 11:00 am- We took Maureen to the bedroom for rest break #1 . The diaper was medium wet with a very small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed. Position Maureen on her right side . She will lie down for an hour starting at 11:15 am.

• 12:15 pm- Rest break # 1 ends. Maureen's diaper was heavy wet with a medium formed bowel movement in it. Dalia and I performed a clean and change. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- vegetable soup, chicken salad, peeled fresh tomatoe, a spoonful of guacamole, 12 oz bottle of coconut water, cup of water. Maureen coughed 3 times, sneezed 4 times.

• 1:10 pm- Oral care.

• 1:15 pm- We reclined Maureen's chair. She is very chatty and smiley.

• 2:00 pm- We headed to the bedroom for Maureen's second rest break. The diaper was wet and had a very small formed bowel movement in it. Maureen urinated during the cleaning process. The urine was clear.Diaper was heavy wet. Dalia and I cleaned, changed and positioned Maureen on her left side for an hour break, starting at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Rest break #2 is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:30 - Fresh fruit snack. Maureen coughed twice.
