Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025 Daytime update

  • 9:00am Maureen is already awake with Tom by her bedside, receptive to sips of water via swab.

  • 9:25am We raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 9:27am Blood pressure: 99/69.

    Pulse: 61

    O2: 95

  • 9:31am Saline Neb treatment.

  • 9:42am Tom and I started the day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed . Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied skin protective film to sacrum, Cavilon barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 10:00am Administered 10mg loratadine with apple sauce. She had 9oz of lemon water after.

  • 10:10am Breakfast: Poached egg with fresh pear, and 7oz of coffee with creamer. Maureen coughed twice during meal. Suction pump used once.

  • 10:50am Oral care followed by facial routine.

  • Applied a thin layer of Triamcinolone cream to Maureen’s left hand dorsal bump.

  • Maureen tool a 15 minutes nap as soon as she was done with her morning routine.

  • 12:15pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Karen and I clean /change a heavy wet diaper, positioned on her right side.

  • 12:45pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 1:00pm Lunch: Beans soup, shrimp salad, tomato and 10oz of sparkling water. Maureen coughed three times and sneezed twice during meal.

  • 2:45pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Karen and I clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her right side.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear) and 10oz of electrolyte drink.

  • Total liquids ingested: 36oz.

9:30 AM - Maureen is still sleeping comfortably 10:00 AM - Maureen is stirring about a little bit, so I went in and gave her a little water via swab, not quite ready to move, but getting ready shortly
