Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen looking calm while sleeping on her left side, O2 at 94% room air - no signs difficulty breathing or any distress.

8:30AM - She's still sleeping.

8:45AM - Maureen woke up slightly jumpy that lasted for 5mins, pulse between 88-90 and O2 between 93-94%.

9:10AM - We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce. BP: 102/58

9:15AM - Neb treatment with Albuterol.

9:35AM - Me and Dalia washed her upper body with warm purple wipes - no redness on skin. Diaper was medium wet, we washed her with tepid water and cleanser. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. Finished dressing and transferred her to the front room.

9:50AM - Maureen had 9oz of lemon water. Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce. Coughed (wet) 3x, used suction machine.

Breakfast poached egg with toast & butter, pear and 6oz prune juice. Coughed 2x (wet), used suction machine and sneeze 2x. Maureen ate well.

11:05AM - Administered 1 tab 500mg of Tylenol (crushed) with apple sauce and 7.5ml expectorant with apple sauce. She took 2 oz of coconut water.

Oral care done

11:20AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.

**Cleaned Maureen's nostrils using Saline Mist.

11:40AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. We position to face her right side, O2 sat via nasal cannula at 96%.

12:00PM - Maureen closed her eyes to nap. She coughed 3x (wet), used suction machine while her eyes remained close.

12:50PM - She opened her eyes from a good nap as well as rest break is over. Diaper was still clean and dry, wengot her dressed and transferred to the front room.

1:00PM - Maureen had 3 (wet) coughs while recliner. We started the Neb treatment with Albuterol.

1:20PM - Lunch - chicken/zucchini soup (blended/thick), 5oz water (with electrolyte powder).

Maureen had episodes of coughing (dry) and sneezing (red face), O2 at 96%.

2:45PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was still clean and dry, we placed her on the right side. O2 at 97% via nasal cannula.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet with medium formed BM. Skin on lower sacrum is slightly open, we cleaned and dried. Applied Calazinc on area. Got Maureen dressed and transferred to the front room.

3:50PM - Maureen had 3oz of lemon water, fruit snack followed (pear, kiwi and melon).

**Total liquid intake - 19oz
