Thursday, Sept 25, 2025 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen sleeps soundly lying on her left side.

  • 8:30am Maureen’s still sleeping.

  • 9:20am Maureen recently woke up without any signs of distress; receptive to sips of water via swab within minutes. Now, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 9:25am Blood pressure: 110/67.

    Pulse: 68

    O2: 95

  • 9:30am Joanna and I started the day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper with a small-bright red bloody discharge, apply Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:55am Breakfast: 8oz lemon water, scrambled egg with tomato, onion and cheese, and 7oz of coffee with creamer. Maureen coughed three times during meal.

  • Finishing breakfast, Maureen got slightly jumpy for about 12 minutes,

  • 10:30am Oral care, eye wash/drops and facial routine performed.

  • 10:48am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. She stayed alert all the way.

  • Once back, Maureen drank 7oz of lemon water.

  • 11:50am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, positioned on her right side.

  • 12:35pm First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 12:55pm Lunch: Spinach/rice soup (blended), tuna salad with tomato, and 10oz coconut water. Maureen coughed and sneezed four times, her nose was runny during lunch.

  • 1:40pm Oral care.

  • 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple) with 2oz lemon water.

  • Total liquids ingested: 34oz.


  • So far today, we have not noticed any difference with Maureen’s coughing frequency compared to treating her with Saline before breakfast or not,

9:30AM - Maureen's on her left side, still sleeping. 9:45AM- Maureen is awake, no signs of pain or any distress. We check the left foot it already very light color we still Applied Triamcinolone 0.1%
