Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen sleeps peacefully lying on her left side.

• 8:30am Maureen briefly opened her eyes a few minutes ago, accepted sips of water via swab and then went back to sleep.

• 9:00am Maureen’s sleeping soundly.

• 9:45am Maureen is awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:47am Blood pressure: 100/58.

  Pulse: 59

  O2: 92

• 9:50am Albuterol Neb treatment.

• 10:02am Joanna and I started our day by giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper, applied skin protective barrier wipe to sacrum, Cavilon barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen for breakfast.

• 10:20am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

• 10:22am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, scramble egg with pear and 8oz of prune juice with a full cap of MiraLAX. Maureen coughed four times (dry) during meal.

• 10:55am Oral care followed by eyes wash/drops and facial routine.

• 11:08am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. She stayed alert all the way.

• Maureen had 2oz of lemon water once back home.

• 12:25pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

• 1:05pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living area.

• 1:20pm Lunch: Spinach/rice soup (blended), shrimp salad with avocado, and 10oz coconut water. Maureen coughed four times and ha three sneezes during meal.

• 2:00pm Oral care.

• 2:40pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, inserted a suppository, and then positioned on her right side.

• 3:35pm Second break ends. Clean/change a dry diaper with an X-large-formed BM, dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:50pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple) with 3oz of lemon water.

• Total liquids ingested: 32oz.
