Thursday January 2, 2025 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen just opened her eyes, calmly, accepting sips of water soon after.

• 8:30am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:40am Joanna and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Diaper is dry and clean, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:00am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice with a full cap of Miralax, scrambled egg with pear, activia yogurt, and a cup of water via. Coughed three times.

• 9:20am Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.

• Daily Miralax dosage: 1cap

• 9:40am Oral care.

• 9:50am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• Maureen napped for about 20 minutes soon after her morning routine.

• Carolyn arrives for the visit with the nurse.

• 11:05am Kelsie, RN arrives for Maureen’s weekly visit:

  Lungs are clear

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area, and positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Lentils soup, tuna salad with guacamole, and a cup of coconut water. Coughed twice.

• 1:35pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen seats relaxed and alert watching a holiday move.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry and clean, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melón/pear/kiwi).
