Maureen looks to the left of center about 3-5 degrees almost all of the time. Her physical therapist Ann recommended we sit to Maureen's right when feeding her in the hope that it would provide the incentive to look to the right.

We all know this experiment has not worked. Maureen rarely looks to the right. With that in mind, we will no longer request/encourage all caregivers to sit to Maureen's right during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please feel free to sit directly in front of or to the left of Maureen.

The key is to choose a portion that provides a clear view of her mouth so that you can easily determine when it is time to give her the next serving of food.

Have questions? Please feel free to get in touch with Tom or Brian.
