Sunday, November 3 Daytime update

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is sleeping. Tom said that she woke up briefly around 5:30 and went back to sleep.

  • 8:30 am- Maureen opened her eyes, got a few sips of water via swab but closed her eyes again.

  • 8:45 pm- Maureen is waking up. We will give her a few minutes.

  • 8:50 am- We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:55 am- We started the day. Maureen’s diaper was dry. Tom and I still cleaned and changed it. There was a Alittle vaginal discharge. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:10 am- Breakfast- 6 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, omelette, activia yogurt, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice and we were able to suction some phlegm.

  • 9:40 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with yogurt.

  • Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

  • 9:50 am- Morning oral care.

  • 9:55 am- Facial routine.

  • 10:00 am- BP- 118/75

  • Maureen said a loud and clear “Thank you “ after breakfast 😊

  • 11:00 am- Maureen is comfortably resting in the reclined chair. She finished a full cup of lemon water.

  • 11:15 am- Deacon Andy came for Sunday service.

  • 11:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet and she had a small formed bowel movement. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her right side for her first rest break.

  • 12:40 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen’s diaper was medium wet and she had an extra large formed bowel movement. Tom

    and I cleaned her thoroughly and changed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:55 pm- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution due to Maureen having a gargling sound and lot of phlegm .

  • 1:05 pm- Lunch- Oatmeal smoothie, cup of coconut water and a cookie for dessert. Maureen coughed once.

  • 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second test break. Diaper was dry. We positioned her on the left side.

  • 3:00 pm- Maureen’s second rest break is over. Diaper was dry. We dressed and transferred her to the recliner.

  • 3:10 pm - Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’ s treatment. She looks very relaxed, closing her eyes on and off.

  • 4:00 pm- Fresh fruit snack- Watermelon, pear and kiwi. One cough.

  • 4:30 pm- BP- 115/65.

  • 4:45 pm- We applied Triamcinolone cream 1 % on Maureen’s left hand.

  • 5:00 pm- Dinner- Pork chops with apple sauce, boiled potatoes, steamed broccoli, cup of water. Maureen coughed once.

  • 5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with apple sauce.

  • 6:10 pm- Evening oral care.

  • 6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was dry . Washed Maureen’s face and applied Cetaphil lotion on her face, hands, legs and feet. Positioned Maureen on her left side. She is closing her eyes.
